About The Event
The ADL has reported that anti-Semitism has dramatically increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Online and written attacks against the State of Israel have also dramatically risen and are especially visible on the campus.
On Sunday, August 9, at 4:00 pm PST, join Mark Yudof and Miriam Elman, Board members of the Academic Engagement Network, as they discuss how radical groups are trying to delegitimize Israel on campus and what we must do to counter this. Elman has published articles in Ha’aretz, NPR and the Forward. In 2018, she was named “one of the top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life.” She has taught Political Science at Syracuse University. Yudof was President of the University of California from 2008 to 2013, and is Emeritus Professor of Law at Cal.
This event is free of charge as a community service. Please RSVP and register to receive the Zoom link. It is very important that you enter your email correctly. If you do not see the confirmation email, please check your spam folder.
