We are thrilled to announce the launch of a unique pilot program, CCJCC JClub, designed to help Contra Costa parents and children engage with other local Jewish kids through enriching afterschool activities!

Q: What are the hours of operation for the Jclub After School Program?
A: The program hours are Monday-Thursday 3 pm-6 pm, Friday: 3 pm-5 pm
Q: What is the age range of children accepted into the after school program?
A: Ages 5-10 (kindergarten through 5th grade)
Q: How much does the program cost?
A: After a meaningful CCJCC subsidy, the monthly cost for the program is $299 per child
Q: Where does the program take place?
A: The program is located at 2055 Tice Valley Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA 94595, USA
Q: What is the arrival/pickup process?
A: Parents/ guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children from the program
Q: I can’t pick up my child today, can I authorize someone else to do it?
A: You may authorize another individual to drop off/pick up your child, provided they have prior authorization if they are not the child's parent or legal guardian
Q: When are payments due?
A: Payments are due on the first of each month. Payments can be made via credit card or check.
Q: Will there be staff onsite who are certified in CPR?
Absolutely! We have trained staff who are CPR certified.
Q: Will we need to bring anything from home?
A: We recommend bringing backup clothes for your child. All materials for activities and snacks will be provided at the program.
Q: What activities are included in the after school program?
A: Arts and crafts, drama, writing, poetry, songs, story time, playtime, Shabbat and holiday celebrations
Q: Is there a homework assistance component in the program?
A: Yes, the program includes dedicated time and support for homework completion and academic enrichment
Q: Could you provide an example of a typical day in the after school program, including the activities scheduled for the children?
